2. Medicare – Generally, patients become eligible for Medicare once they turn 65 years old and have worked and paid Medicare taxes for at least 10 years.  You may also qualify if you have a disability or a certain disease such as End Stage Renal Disease or Lou Gehrig’s Disease‎.

3.  Healthcare Options – Healthcare options is a targeted benefit plan designed primarily for the adult indigent population. This plan targets El Paso County residents that are below 100% of the poverty level and are not receiving similar benefits through Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP or other programs.

4. Obamacare – A government program that offers affordable healthcare premiums or individuals who do not qualify for other assistance such as Medicare or Medicaid and whose employer does not offer insurance.
